The Environmental Safety Section adheres to all relevant governmental laws and regulations in managing: Safety organization and personnel Licensing for toxic and hazardous chemical operations Waste declaration and disposal Laboratory inspections The university’s safety achievements include: A Ministry of Education-funded hazardous waste storage facility (2003) Annual lab inspections during winter and summer breaks 12 laboratories received three-star certifications (2006) First-class evaluations in Engineering Construction Safety (2007)
