2009 conference will take place in Tainan,
which is the hometown of all Taiwan people and the city with
most historic relics in Taiwan.
Tainan is located in the southwest of Taiwan on the
rich and fertile Jianan Plain, with a population of about
740,000 people. Tainan becomes important business and
sightseeing city in the south. The merits of Tainan are
historic heritage and the development of agriculture,
fishery, and industry.
As the origin of history , Tainan is the oldest city
in Taiwan. Tainan was called Da-yuan, Taiwan, Chihkan,
etc. In Ching dynasty, Emperor Guang-syu (1875-19 08 A.D.)
established Tainan government authority, so he named
Tainan to Fu-cheng. (Fu-cheng means metropolis.)
